Jeremiah 29:13 AMP

[13] Then [with a deep longing] you will seek Me and require Me [as a vital necessity] and [you will] find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.

Still on the theme of Seeking God, as previously mentioned, its a very intentional thing.

You dont accidentally study the bible or fast by accident.

Its driven by intention.

Jeremiah in the AMP version here adds a new dimension to this verse,by saying with a deep longing,almost like a healthy obsession.

Something you absolutely cannot live without, a vital necessity.

Two points are found here although they convey the same idea, emphasized to drive the point home:

1. Seek God like your life depends on it and if that wasn’t clear enough
2. Seek God with all your heart

This is important because if these conditions are met, then God has promised in His Word, that you will find Him, though, He is not the one who is lost.

Practically that means, putting God first, in your thoughts, your day, your plans, decisions and most importantly, your heart.
