Rest is productive

After two consecutive days the gym.

Today, I drove straight past the gym after work with the gym bag I had packed the night before as gym preps for today.

I had every intention of being there but between the mentally taxing experience of being at the office on the last day of the month and the muscle soreness I was feeling, going there just seemed, well crazy.

I definitely went hard these past two days. Hence I am of the opinion that I torn a few muscles.

When will they get a chance to heal and grow if I don’t rest?

Most importantly, when will I??

I’ve given quite a bit to gym life but what about reading, journaling, errands, family?

Did I even drink enough water today?

It’s the little things, that actually aren’t that little, that matter the most.y

You were not born to just pay bills and die.

neither were you born to perpetually rest.

Hustle culture is soo toxic.

Health really is the true wealth.h

Health, poor health, is one of the ways God reminds us that there are problems that even money can’t solve.

Go to bed.

Rest, relax, breathe.

You did your best today, and that’s all that matters.

Dear gym, I’ll see you tomorrow.

God willing.

I think Wednesday’s are perfect for resting and recharging.😌❤️

Remember, God loves you ❤️

And so do I 😊
